The Best Casinos in the UK

Aspers Casino

Aspers Casino opened in 2011 and is London’s largest Casino. It offers 70 gaming tables as well as a dozen poker tables and some 150 electronic gambling machines.

You can find all the classic table games here, such as Blackjack, Roulette, Punto Banco/Baccarat, Superwheel, Dice, Casino War and Poker Table games. And it boasts London’s largest Poker room, with 300 permanent seats, and with daily Poker cash games and tournaments going on 24/7.

It is located just outside the city center, on the 3rd floor of the Westfield mall in Stratford City.

Crockfords Club

Crockfords Club is recognized as the world’s oldest private members gaming club. A relatively small London casino, you can find the classic table games such as Blackjack and Roulette, as well as Punto Banco/Baccarat and Poker Table Games.

Though those traveling for poker may be disappointed since the casino doesn’t offer poker cash games. Live table games are open 24/7.

Hippodrome Casino

One of Britain’s largest casinos, the Hippodrome Casino has well & truly established itself as a cornerstone of West End life. The busiest casino in the UK, it is also London’s most popular entertainment venue, having just welcomed their 4 millionth visitor since opening in 2012.

There are three floors of gaming with over 45 traditional casino tables including roulette, blackjack, three card poker, dice, baccarat, plus a vast range of electronic games and slots. There is a 180 seat music & cabaret room, six bars, 24 hour food and drink, and a two-tier indoor/outdoor smoking terrace.

The main arena gaming floor, with its central bar and full-height ceiling stretching up to the minstrel’s gallery of the original theatre, is a unique and spectacular gaming experience.

Genting Casino Cromwell Mint

An exclusive casino in South Kensington London, Genting Casino Cromwell Mint is relatively small, though offers a great atmosphere for fun, and exhilarating casino and poker gaming.

Though if your vision of a casino is James Bond, in a tux, at Monte Carlo, forget it. Smart casual is the general rule here, and the scene is quite relaxed. Smart jeans and smart trainers are acceptable, however, football shirts, muscle/vest tops and shorts are not. And, of course, it would not harm to learn poker etiquette before taking your place at the table.

The Casino places emphasis on creating a social environment whilst keeping the traditional casino and poker gaming unlike any other London casino.

Grosvenor Victoria Casino London

One of the largest and busiest casinos in the UK, the Grosvenor Victoria Casino London, affectionately known as “the Vic”, sits in the heart of London and boasts one of the largest and most iconic poker rooms in Europe.

Having last year celebrated it’s 50th anniversary, it is one of the longest established casinos in the country. In the sixties it was ‘the casino to visit’ with American junkets flying over to London purely to join in the excitement and to this day, it is still seen as ‘the place to be’ when in London.
