Regular readers will know by now that I never leave home without my power station. Whether I’m camping, road-tripping, or on a city-break with my laptop and phone, a reliable source of power comes with me everywhere I go.

And it’s not just because I can’t go a day without my phone (though that’s also true!). It’s also the comfort of camping with a running fridge for keeping food; for air-con when you’re road-tripping through the desert, and for being able to power lights for safety.

It’s also necessity when you have to face severe energy shortages, which many countries around the world, especially developing nations, constantly do.

So I’m not willing to sacrifice electricity when I travel – yes, because of the safety and convenience, but also because you simply don’t have to.

My favorite portable power station to date has been the Bluetti AC200 (I wrote this review), which has now been made even more powerful with its latest product update: now the AC200P.

Bluetti AC200P: The World’s Most Versatile Portable Power Station is Back in a More Powerful Way

A Huge Battery Capacity Increase

Maxoak Bluetti AC200P Review

The Bluetti AC200P is a portable power station with a 2000 Watt-hour / 2000 Watt capacity. This means you can charge any device under 2000W (which is almost everything); laptops, phones, lights, drones, medical devices, and larger load devices like coffee machines, fridges, and power tools.

You can even charge a Tesla! That’s right – it’s even capable of charging your electric vehicle / motorcycle / scooter, and it’s portable, meaning you can throw it in the back of your car!!

With this product update, the total capacity of the battery pack has increased to 2000 Wh from the previous 1700 Wh. What does this mean?

A watt-hour is a unit of energy which measures the amount of work or change, that can achieved. It explains the capacity of most power station products, and tells you how many times your devices will recharge using its battery.

An increase of 300 Watt-hours is huge and simply means your power bank will last longer, and be capable of charging more devices before you have to recharge it.

Pro tip: Use “Bluetti ECO” Mode to prevent up to 50% of wasted energy loss. It will automatically power down when the output is lower than 50W for 4 hours, just in case you forget to turn it off.

The new AC200P is also built with LiFePO4 battery cell, which brings the whole unit with over 3,500 charge cycles before the total capacity degrades to 80% (the previous version is capable of lasting 2500 cycles by contrast). This means it has a much longer life cycle.

All Other Functions Are the Same

The AC200P is different from the AC200 only in battery. All other functions are the same.

Just like the previous version, the AC200P has 17 output ports, meaning you can charge 17 devices at the same time (it’s epic). There are still 5 ways to recharge the station itself, including via AC adapter, car charge, generator, lead acid battery, or by solar panels.

Wide Range of Output Options

➤ Six AC outlets

➤ Dual 15W wireless charging pads

➤ One 60W USB-C PD

➤ Four USB-A ports

➤ Two 12V/3A DC ports

➤ One 12V/10A DC car cigarette lighter port

➤ One 12V/ 25A RV port

There’s still the smart touchable LCD screen with real-time display showing current, voltage, power, temp, and charging status.

And nothing has changed in terms of being gas free, quiet, and cost effective (while my main purpose is use for travel, the AC200P also saves you money when used at home – with an ever increasing cost on energy, this portable solar station is a great way to decrease home energy consumption).

Where to Buy

The AC200P retails for $1,999.99, though commonly has discount codes for up to $200 off, which you can find on their website. Visit www.bluetti.com to purchase, or for more details.
