Sunday Snapshot: Sunset Over the Serengeti

Sunset over the Serengeti National Park

Sunset over the Serengeti National Park

While our wildlife safari was the reason we traveled to Africa, the sunsets each night over the Serengeti National Park, Tanzania, were definitely a highlight.

Translated, Serengeti means “endless plains”, which is a pretty accurate description.  The stunningly scenic landscape appears to go on forever, and glows majestically as the sun sets over the African plains.
