Famous for excellent hospitality and luxury hotels, every traveler will have heard of the Hilton hotel brand. And with more than 584 hotels across six continents, there’s a lot of opportunity to stay with them!

But with such a competitive accommodation industry these days, why should you choose a Hilton property over another franchise, a boutique or family owned hotel, or alternative accommodation like resorts, airbnbs, or even house-sitting?

4 Reasons to Stay at Hilton Hotels

Comfy Pillows & Bedding

Hilton hotels standout for many reasons, though one of them is its bedding style and luxuriously comfortable pillows used at Hilton hotels.

Sleep is one of the most important aspects of enjoying a trip overseas, and it’s one of the most crucial keys to returning home fully rested.

There’s no denying that travel often disrupts your sleep routine, so it’s important to make sure the accommodation you’ve chosen allows for a good nights sleep.

Hilton has a signature Down Dream Classic Pillow that features a unique blend of 87% duck feather, and 13% down in its soft, inner chamber. The outer chamber is layered with 75% down, making it a silky and soft, luxury pillow.

You can also opt for a firmer type that consists of a thicker outer chamber. These pillows are also referred to as ‘Classic Soft’ or ‘Classic Firm’ and remain a guest favorite for their support and unmatched comfort.

For most successful hotel chains, bedding accessories and especially pillow type is one of the most important things that builds customer loyalty and the Hilton understands that perfectly.

Hilton hotels offer great rewards for loyal guests and has a well-developed loyalty scheme called HHonors with four different memberships including entry level (Blue), Silver, Gold, and Diamond.

To achieve these, guests need to fulfill certain criteria. For example, to earn the Silver membership, guests must have four stays over the year or one stay of ten consecutive nights in the year.

Gold status can be earned if you have twenty stays in a year and Diamond status is gifted to those who may have 30 stays on their record.

HHonors also rewards its members with electronic check-in facilities up to 24-hours in advance, room upgrades, late check-out, ultra-fast speed Wi-Fi, complimentary dining, etc.

HHonor reward points can also be used to book flights, shop, wine and dine, rent a luxury car, or even book a room with a Hilton hotel. Additionally, you can also choose to donate points to your favorite charity with every 10,000 points you earn.

Great for Business Travelers

Hilton hotels were named the best business hotels worldwide and have won several accolades for catering to business travel. Though many of the perks business travelers expect are also fantastic for leisure travelers.

In particular, internet access in all Hilton properties is fast and reliable, and works in all areas of the hotel and room. While they have conference facilities and meeting rooms, the guest rooms themselves are often conducive to office work, with good lighting, strategically placed power outlets, and comfortable seating.

Hilton hotels offer all travelers a quiet environment, which is essential for achieving a good night’s sleep, and also great for getting work done.

And then there are thoughtful extras in some hotels like stand up desks, and being able to easily sync devices to the TV really which really makes a difference to the overall experience.

  1. All sound like good reasons to me Meg. I’ve never stayed in a Hilton but always wondered what the experience would be like.
