The Mountain States are some of the most naturally beautiful destinations in the United States. There is Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming making up the Northwest, and Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, New Mexico, and Utah in the Southwest.

With so much of the great outdoors to explore in these regions, you don’t need much more from a hotel than somewhere to rest your head. As such, the following are the cheapest hotels in the Mountain States; Laughlin, Yuma, Boise, and more.

Yuma Cabana Motel, Yuma AZ

One of the cheapest hotels in Yuma is the Yuma Cabana Motel. Rates start from $60 per night and free perks include Wi-Fi, self parking, and a continental breakfast each morning.

There is an outdoor pool which is a bonus for those traveling in summer months looking to avoid the brutal heat. Rooms feature bonuses such as microwaves and refrigerators.

The Boise Hotel in Boise, Idaho

Rooms at the Boise Hotel are a true bargain for those traveling on a budget through Boise. Rates start at $61 per night, with rooms featuring free Wi-Fi, television with pay-per-view, and amenities including microwaves and refrigerators.

The hotel offers free parking and a complimentary shuttle to and from Boise Airport. There is a steakhouse and a sports bar on site, or guests can order room service if they choose. There is a fitness center and an indoor swimming pool.

Wayside Inn in Breckenridge, Colorado

As far as cheap hotels in Breckenridge, Wayside Inn is the best way to go. Room rates start at $65 per night based on season. During peak season like Christmas and Spring break rates will be more around the $120 mark.

Rooms here are styled to be rustic with modern comforts, each with a view of the surrounding countryside. There are blackout drapes, down comforters and Egyptian cotton sheets as well as a flat screen TV, free parking, and a year round hot tub, perfect for relaxing after a rigorous ski session. Complimentary continental breakfasts run from Thanksgiving through Easter.

The Park City Peaks Hotel in Park City, Utah

The Park City Peaks Hotel offer cheap rooms with marvelous mountain views from a cozy, chalet style property. Rates start from $97 per night for a standard room with one king bed, making this unbeatable value and a great choice for the budget conscious traveler in Park City, Utah.

There is a large heated pool and Swedish sauna and spa, with a complimentary buffet breakfast served each morning in the winter. There is a sports bar and grill for lunch and dinner, and other features include ski storage, computer stations, an ATM, arcade room, and a 24-hour front desk.
