Sophistication, affordable luxury, and a prime location on the Las Vegas Strip: these are all reasons to stay at the stunningly beautiful Monte Carlo Resort & Casino.

An elegant European-style exterior, dynamic new food and beverage offerings, and Hotel 32; these are 3 more.

We recently found ourselves waking up in Vegas in a Penthouse Suite on the 32nd level of the Monte Carlo Resort. And, while what happens in Vegas should stay in Vegas, our experience at the Monte Carlo was so insanely phenomenal I can’t help but to share!

32 Reasons to Stay at the Monte Carlo Resort, Vegas.

Having already mentioned sophistication, affordable luxury, and a prime location on the Vegas Strip, as well as the beautiful European exterior and fantastic food offerings; here are 27 more reasons why you should stay at the Monte Carlo Resort during your next Vegas trip.

#6 800 Degrees

800 Degrees Neapolitan Pizzeria has the best pies on the Vegas Strip. Traditional Italian pizza’s, baked to perfection in a wood-burning oven, with a thin crust, fresh ingredients and home-made sauce, while they offer a few favorite combinations, you’re free to personalize your pizza with your choice of fresh ingredients.

#7 BLVD Creamery

After dinner, it’s time for dessert. And for the best ice cream on the Las Vegas Strip, step out of 800 Degrees and take 5 steps right to reach BLVD Creamery.

The range of ice-cream flavors they offer borders on ridiculous. It’s magically delicious.

 #8 – 12 Amenities & Shows

An energetic and innovative combination of music, comedy, and multimedia theatrics, the Blue Man Group is almost impossible to describe, though is intensely exciting and wildly outrageous; definitely one of the best shows on the Vegas Strip, and one of the top reasons to stay at the Monte Carlo.

The resort’s fantastic amenities; an oversized pool area with an adult lazy river, and beach volleyball court, are further reasons to book a stay. They even have a -5 degree ice bar on the premises! Click to enlarge photographs.

 #13 – 32: Hotel 32

Hotel 32 is Las Vegas’ best kept secret. Located on a private floor atop the Monte Carlo Resort, this is where guests come for true Vegas VIP treatment. MGM don’t go out of their way to market or advertise the property – it sells itself through word of mouth.

The Hotel32 experience begins the moment you touch down at McCarran International Airport. Don’t even look at the taxi line, because a complimentary limo is already waiting for you. Your driver will take your bags, because lifting a finger isn’t part of your Hotel32 itinerary. (If you’re staying at Monte Carlo you can easily pre-book a Vegas airport transfer to have a car waiting for you too).

Bypassing the standard check-in lines at the Monte Carlo, guests of Hotel 32 proceed to a private VIP lounge where they are given rooms keys and instructions for private elevator access. Guests have access to this lounge until 11pm where they may enjoy complimentary wine and canapes.

A Personal Suite Assistant awaits your arrival on the 32nd floor, offering an orientation of your fabulous suite and the amenities that await you. This Personal Suite Assistant is exclusively yours, and their primary job during your stay is to attend to your beck and call.

Would you like your fridge custom stocked? How about bath salts run to the room for a relaxing spa? Your every wish is their command!

Bath salts?

Need bath salts? Did I mention the in-room spa was LED lit enabling mood lighting?!

Your suite orientation takes you through the ins and outs of your spectacular room (we stayed in a “loft”).

From working the remote control drapes and mood lighting in the shower, to an LED lit spa, 4 plasma TV’s and in room cappuccino maker, the range of in room amenities is so excessive it will fulfill every wildest dream.

Seriously!

The 4 television sets appear as one in the lounge, one in the dining room, one in the bedroom, and one in the mirror in the bathroom. That’s right – there’s a TV in the mirror in the bathroom! Though if this distracts you from getting ready, don’t worry – you have two vanity sinks to choose from.

Exclusive to guests of Hotel32 is the plush and flush Lounge32, which offers cocktails and comp canapés in the evening, complimentary breakfast each morning, and three large HDTV plasma flat screens for guests to enjoy at their leisure.

Double bay windows overlooking the City Center offer unbeatable views of the Vegas Skyline, and attentive lounge assistants are there to spoil you rotten.

For those who are counting, fantastic, friendly staff, ridiculously spacious rooms, and complimentary parking and wifi are the final three reasons why you should book a room at the Monte Carlo Resort, Vegas.

  1. Should have been really nice :)
Gives me good memories of my stay in Vegas in June. Walked through the Monte Carlo hotel and the setting was nice.

    • It’s a really lovely hotel – I see youve also recently written about hotels in Vegas. Will head on over and check out your post!

    • Thanks Meg for stepping by our site!

  2. I just hit double digits yesterday for my Vegas countdown. This is making me nutso because I want to go NOW.

    • Woohoo! You’ll be there in no time – promise!! Vegas is such a colourful place & the nightlife and atmosphere is crazy. You’ll have a blast :)

  3. Wow.
Vegas might be crazy and overwhelming but I really want to experience it once. It must be great too.
And this hotel you’ve stayed in really looks cool!!!

    • It is a little overwhelming, but it’s so much fun. We’re not huge drinkers or gamblers but we love the nightlife and atmosphere walking the strip at night :)

  4. Yay! This post makes me super excited for Vegas. We just booked tix for January and it’ll be our first time there! We’ll be there for a week which almost seemed too long for me but we’re not really there to party too much since it’ll be half work half vacation. All these suggestions are awesome, I’m going to save this for when we go. I definitely want to see the Blue Man group show!

    • A week is definitely too long for Vegas itself, but there are a tonne of great day trips you can take in the surrounds – some really great canyons, state parks and hiking.

Plus, it’s not a bad place to be to just lay by the pool for a week!!

      Have fun!

  5. Just the name, Monte Carlo, sounds enticing! Although I have to say, for me at least, it’s the lazy river for the win! I’m sure I’m not the only one who thinks they may be the best things since sliced bread ;)

    • On that we are in agreeance! Also totally love Lazy Rivers – and this one was super sized for adult Vegas fun!!

  6. Looks like great place! We stayed at Planet Hollywood and it was such a luxury after spending two weeks camping in the Utah deserts, being all dusty and sweaty. Next time we’re in Vegas (if we will ever be there) we will definitely consider this place!

    • Brittany Spears is playing at Planet Hollywood! I will admit to wishing I had spent a few extra nights and run over to see her show :D

Definitely head on over to the Monte Carlo next time you’re in Vegas. It’s a winner!

  7. The Monte Carlo sounds like a great choice–especially hotel 32! We were just in Vegas and ended up staying at the Luxor. It was nice, but too not super close to a lot. We will have to check out the Monte Carlo next time!

    • Hotel 32 was nuts. We stayed in the Luxor last year and we did love it. We were pretty pleased to be closer to the main centre of the strip at the Monte Carlo though :)

  8. A personal suite assistant?? Wild! I just stayed at the Venetian and while it was lovely, I didn’t have hardly any of these amenities you mentioned! We couldn’t even use our fridge or dare move anything in there – or else we’d be charged 400 dollars!

    • Damn that’s frustrating re the fridge! I hate when fridges/mini bars are magnetized and automatically charge you when you move things around.

Our fridge was a mini bar, but thankfully it wasn’t magnetized, and we had plenty of space to add our own stuff.

  9. Wow, look at that view! This place is super awesome! Very fancy! Vegas in style.

    • Definitely Vegas in Style! We had a great time :)

  10. Soo decadent and extravagant! I can’t believe the bathtub has lights (I mean, wow). I’m not a luxury kind of person, but I think I would make an exception for this one!

    • I know!!! This was beyond the kind of luxury I had ever imagined – we literally felt like we had stepped into the plot line of one of those movies…we may have spent the first hour in the room just playing with all of the touch pad controls – opening and closing the drapes from a remote was surprisingly exciting lol :D!

  11. Looks like a ton of fun and an amazing stay with a little bit of everything! Great colorful photos too! Thanks for sharing!

    • Thanks Mary! Glad you enjoyed the post – the Monte Carlo definitely had a little bit of everything!

  12. I’m pretty sure that pizza and those ice cream cones are more than enough reasons for me to want to stay at the Monte Carlo :)

    • Agreed! I would stay again just for the food scene :D!
