Nainital іѕ wеll соnnесtеd bу buses with оthеr раrtѕ оf thе ѕtаtе, and Interstate ѕеrvісеѕ аrе аlѕо аvаіlаblе. If flying in, thе nеаrеѕt аіrроrt tо Nainital іѕ Pant Nagar Airport, located 2 hours аwау.

Peak season here is May to mid-July and October, and during this period Nainital is packed to the gills with holidaying families and honeymooners, and hotel prices skyrocket.

  5. We’ve been here! It really is a stunning place. We stayed at the Naini Retreat which is awesome accommodation. Though the hotel is too much towards the inside of Nainital and away from mall road but worth it. Being a heritage property they have maintained it well.

  6. There’s also a high altitude zoo here with snow leopards and red pandas. The view too was great but you do require a lot stamina to see the entire zoo as it’s inclined…

  11. The best thing about Nanital is its weather. The place is very beautiful & mesmerizing. There are 6 lakes in Nainital, one should travel during its visit to Nainital, Naini lake, Sariyatal, Sattal, Naukuchiatal, Bhimtal and Khuruptal. Just the traffic there can bother you during peak seasons since the roads are almost single lane. The activities you can do here are boating and ropeway…you won’t find much adventures activities here.
