  1. I was lucky enough to get to spend a month in Florida and the beaches there are superb. Good tip about keeping the hotel restaurant into account, it definitely adds to a great vacation experience if you can get some great food right where you are staying. Room service is even better and such a treat! The only problem with having so much fun, is you might not want to go home afterwards. Thanks for a great article I appreciate it.

    • Haha a definite issue with Florida is never wanting to leave – I was there for a year but could have stayed for a lifetime!

Yes, room service is a definite treat, especially if you have a room with a window / balcony overlooking the ocean – nothing beats it!

  2. I still vividly remember one of my most fascinating trips in the U.S. It included Miami’s South Beach. The plenty of sunshine even in September was truly amazing.

The beach was also beautiful, but the ocean floor was not that attractive – tonnes of stones.

However, our hotel had the most awesome sky pool, so I spent quite some time there.

    • Awesome Svetoslav! So glad to hear you had a fabulous time in South Beach. Which hotel did you stay at, sounds like an incredible spot!

  3. This are very useful tips when you go somewhere to a new place. I think I would definitely choose a hotel that has also massage (can’t live without it, right?). And I am dying to read posts about beaches and sunbathing now, when in Romania has just started to snow (isn’t that ironic?!)

    • Maybe you can escape the Romanian winter with a trip to sunny Florida! Even during winter in South Beach the weather is amazing, many snow bird migrate down from Canada and across Europe to escape the snow.

      Glad you enjoyed the post!

  4. It’s pretty daunting when you break down the options like that. How do you choose between great options ? Though private beaches would definitely be one of the deciding factors for us.

    • Very true that one of the most difficult things is making the choice! But write down a list of amenities you want from the experience, like having private beach access, and that will help you decide between a few :)

      Happy travels! Enjoy Miami!

  5. That’s an amazing analysis on how to choose the perfect place for a vacation depending on one’s taste and fancies. Bookmarked for future! Sharing this right away as we have lot of friends in Florida! :)

    • Glad our points were helpful for you Ashwini – hope you have the chance to visit your friends in Florida at some point soon – group trip to South Beach maybe!
