The Food

If you thought your views of London were impressive from your room, head to the hotel’s Waterloo Sky Bar where you’ll be rewarded with an impressive uninterrupted panoramic city skyline as you treat yourself to a drink on the terrace.

London can be rather expensive when it comes to food, though this problem is solved with the package deal from Luxury Escapes; complimentary daily buffet breakfasts and two three-course dinners for two in H10’s Three O Two Restaurant.

Breakfast is a selection of traditional English breakfast items like scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, plus a variety of crumbly pastries and baked pieces of bread, cereals, seasonal fruits, cakes, cheeses and cold meats.

For your three course dinner, Three O Two Restaurant features a bi-weekly changing menu of Mediterranean cuisine with a Spanish twist, offering items such as venison carpaccio with shaved Manchego cheese, Iberian pork cheeks with Moscatel wine sauce and traditional Spanish Paella Valenciana with green beans, rabbit and chicken.

Our Favorite London Experiences

Kayak on the Thames

Yes you can take a cruise on the Thames, but our recommendation is to opt for a bit more adventure by taking an exciting kayak tour which will give you a whole new perspective on the city.

With a variety of tours available which suit all types of people, you are assured to have a wonderful lasting memory.

Take in a West End Show

No trip to London is complete without seeing a West End musical. See a classic like Les Miserables or Phantom of the Opera or go for something newer like Aladdin or Dreamgirls.

Climb the Monument

Test your fitness by climbing the 311 steps to the top of The Monument to the Great Fire of London, which commemorates the 1666 Great Fire of London which claimed the homes of 70,000 of the City’s 80,000 inhabitants.

Tour the Tower of London

It is of course one of London’s most iconic landmarks, but did you know you can have exclusive after-hours access via a twilight tour? You can also enjoy a Medieval Christmas complete with King Richard III, knights, and jesters.

Book early enough to witness the 700 year old Ceremony of the Keys, or locking up of the Tower. Just 40-50 escorted visitors are admitted to watch the ceremony each night. Oh, and don’t forget to check out the Crown Jewels while you’re there!

  1. Wow the view from the rooftop bar is enough to make me want to go there. I wonder do they have heaters or blankets in winter?

    • Isn’t it an incredible view!! I didn’t travel during winter, but I quickly called the hotel for you and they’ve said that they do provide heaters during winter – not sure about blankets but their service is incredible, so I’m sure if you asked one of the hotel staff they would try their best to organize something from housekeeping :)

  2. I never even heard of this place in my home city, now I might check it out for a cheeky one night stay in the centre. Defo want to check out the rooftop bar. :D

    • A great place for a staycation in central London – even if you’re a local :D

  3. This looks amazing and great timing Meg. We are looking into the possibility of planning my first trip to UK next year.

  5. I’ve been to London quite often – and of course was never able to afford such a nice and luxurious place – but with a 61% discount – who knows – maybe I could pamper myself!?
Funny enough, although I’ve been there so often, I never did neither the kayaking nor did I climb the monument – I must admit that I only know the tube station munoment, never looked for a ‘monument’, though ?
What I absolutely love is the Tower! It’s so special – and so full of scary, spooky, bloody stories and history. This Christmas receptions sounds great – maybe next year. But then I insist on borrowing the Queen’s jewels.
    Happy holidays, Megan!

    • Maybe you can take advantage of the Luxury Escapes discount on your next trip :) They often run incredible deals on hotels in London, so maybe bookmark their website too if other properties come up in the future. Can’t beat the experience at H10 though :)

  8. I love London’s buzz. I often visit at this time of year, and I’m suffering from London longing. I agree the location is critical when planning a stay in London – H10 sounds fabulous. Views of the London Eye from the bedroom would keep my kids glued to the floor-to-ceiling windows.

    • Easily my favorite city in the world – I know that London longing all too well! Yes, definitely need a good central location when in London – though I do give them credit, because the tube is ridiculously efficient for getting around.
