Searching for the best Christmas lights display in the United States? Look no further than Attleboro, Massachusetts.

Photographer Ed King grew up with the the Christmas display at La salette Shrine in Attleboro, Massachusetts; a yearly tradition since he was very young.

“Located on over 10 acres of land, over 800,000 lights inspire and delight visitors from near and far each and every year. The lighting display dates back to 1953 and generations of families have come year after year passing on the tradition and spirit of Christmas.”

Viewing of the shrine is free of charge as is the parking.  Donations are accepted but not required.

Ed King is Rhode Island based fine art & freelance photographer – whether standing barefoot on the beach or bundled up like an arctic explorer, Ed King captures the essence of light, emotion and creativity in each and every print. When not out with a camera Ed is usually being chased around by his border collie Tory.
