Charlotte is a combustion of captivating and colorful cosmopolitan.  It’s clean, it’s charming, it oozes culture, and as the largest and most accessible city in-between Washington D.C and Dallas, Texas, it’s a cinch to get to!

It’s historic yet it’s hip.  Charlotte offers travelers an amazing blend of modern metropolitan mixed with historic preservation dating back to 1786 when it was known as “Charlotte Town”.

Between historic sites, art and culture, gold mines, nightlife, a mecca of motor-sports, the Charlotte Motor Speedway (NASCAR), community parks and a spectacular city skyline, the visitors center isn’t wrong – “Charlotte’s got a lot!”

  1. Charlotte looks like a fun city. I haven’t been in nearly 20 years, and that was for a high school cross-country race. So I didn’t get to experience all the fun of the city.

    • It’s such a fun city!! You should definitely plan a trip – great for the whole family!

  2. Nice job Megan, you’re right up there with Nomadic Samuel with your video blogging :). Never been to Charlotte except to transfer planes (Charlotte’s a USAir hub). Looked like a really nice city – glad to see more of the city through this video.
    Keep up the good work,

    • Thanks Frank – that means a lot!! You should definitely spend a day or two during your next transfer ;)
