  1. Wow! I had no idea there were so many rooftop pools at hotels there. But, I’ve never been to LA and I’d really like to go…and these hotels all look really awesome! I’d love to lounge about on a rooftop and swim there! :)

    • Lounging in a rooftop pool with views over the Hollywood sign – best way to spend your time in LA :D! I hope you manage to make a trip happen soon :)

  2. Interesting topic, and great photos. Garden roof tops are cool too.

    • Glad you enjoyed it Angelika – love garden rooftops also; maybe that should be a theme for my next post!

  3. They all sounds great but I would pick hotel wilshire…cabanas and fires? NICE! Wonder if they let you cook smores…haha

    • Hmmm they probably wouldn’t object!! I’ve found most hotels with fire-pits actually do sell smores if you ask, so may be worth the question while there!!

  4. Poolside cabanas, fire pits, cocktails and speedy wifi. Yeah I could see myself spending a week at the office atop the Wilshire Hotel Pool. lol Great write up Meg, planning a trip to LA soon so will have to keep this in mind! :-)

    • Isn’t it fabulous! And love that you can see the Hollywood sign; no better view!!

  6. The only rooftop pool I’ve been to was in Athens. It was nice, but nothing as lavish as these ones! Love how the colour of the water looks bright turquoise in the first one!

    • They all look so magnificent at night – once the sun goes down and the lights turn on, the water transforms!

  7. I’ve been to Los Angeles, but my hotel did not include a rooftop pool. I am in love with rooftop anything. :)
A pool, on the roof, and with a view of L.A. sounds perfect. Great post. I will have to return soon and make this happen.

    • I’m also in love with anything rooftop! There’s a great one in Sydney on the top of the Holiday Inn on the Rocks – has an amazing pool with views over the Harbor Bridge and Opera House, and you can really hear and feel the ambiance of the harbour – so that’s a good one to do also if you make it to Sydney :)

  8. I really wouldn’t mind spending few afternoons just relaxing at the poolside, enjoying the views of LA! :) hopefully one day!

    • Right!!! We’re going through California on our next roadtrip and have decided we really need to slow down so we can spend some time just laying back and relaxing!

  9. Ooooh I do love me a good rooftop pool with a view. The last place I stayed with a rooftop pool was Seville in Spain and the view of La Giralda whilst sipping sangria relaxing in the pool was incredible.

    • Ooooh that sounds AMAZING!! Going to hit up your blog and trawl it for those photos!!
